A new sports facility opens Saturday in Duncanville.
The Bob Knight's Fieldhouse off U.S. 67 features, of course, basketball courts, but also volleyball courts and an indoor soccer field. There is also room for martial arts, cheerleading and dance team practice.
And that's not all, the fieldhouse also has a student center where young athletes can receive free tutoring, access to computers and a quiet study location.
The fieldhouse is located at 1700 S. Main Street in Duncanville -- it's in the old Star Center that closed earlier this year. Knight, a part owner in the project, will be on hand Saturday for the grand opening celebration. The fun begins at 9 a.m.
