Vice President Joe Biden plans to be in North Texas on Friday for the NCAA Division 1 Football Championship, according to a newspaper report.
Biden is scheduled to attend Friday night's game at Frisco's Pizza Hut Park between Delaware and Eastern Washington, the Dallas Morning News reported.
Biden's office would not immediately confirm details.
The Dallas County Democratic Party said Thursday that it had not been notified, and the Collin County Democrats did not immediately return a phone call.
The Federal Aviation Administration has restricted the airspace around the sports complex for Biden's visit. The agency would not elaborate on the nature of the restriction, but did say it was for a VIP visit.
The vice president moved to Delaware in 1953 and graduated from the University of Delaware, as well as Syracuse Law School. He served as a U.S. senator from Delaware for 36 years before becoming the 47th vice president.
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN2 at 7 p.m.
