2-Year-Old Smokes NCAA Bracket

Child picks UConn over Butler in Yahoo contest

Feeling pretty good about your NCAA hoops bracket, huh?

Yeah, you were smoothing along until Butler pulled off the improbable and beat VCU to return to the title game for the second consecutive year. Then it all fell apart.

Still, all things considered, not a bad showing.

Consider this: a 2-year-old smoked you.

Lola Henry, 2, of Keller, picked UConn over Butler in the Finals on her Yahoo bracket. The win resulted in her having the 619th best overall performance among what, 2 million or so people across the country who played the Yahoo bracket?

Lola employed a sophisticated formula for making her selections, according to her mom, Heather Henry. Lola stuck with Butler — “potty-humor picks,” mom called it — because the name made her laugh.

Then, when it came down to picking last night’s final, Lola scoped the bracket, which included renderings of the team logos, and went with UConn because the Husky dog looked friendlier than the Bulldog.

Genius.

You takin' notes?
