Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) will make discussed the state’s plan to foster small businesses Thursday in Dallas.

Gov. Abbott took some questions from reporters about the COVID-19 pandemic and vaccinations.

“You look at the number of vaccines, the past seven days, Texas has vaccinated far more people than in any other seven day time period. We are averaging well over 100,000 vaccinations per day,” said Abbott.

Governor Abbott said those numbers will continue to increase because of the addition of three mass vaccination sites, two of which are in North Texas. He also expected a vaccine from Johnson and Johnson to be approved before the end of this month.
