Ron Paul Ad Slams Gingrich, Santorum

Paul says other candidates "betrayed" conservatives

Fresh off a strong finish at the Iowa caucuses, Rep. Ron Paul is setting his sights on the New Hampshire and South Carolina primaries.

Dr. Paul (as in medical doctor) released a new ad in South Carolina that slams two of the three candidates ahead of him in the polls: Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum.

The ad will run in South Carolina, and calls Gingrich and the surging Santorum two men that have "betrayed" conservatives.

According to a Rasmussen Reports poll in South Carolina of likely Republican primary voters, Mitt Romney leads with 27 percent. Santorum is in second place with 24 percent, and Gingrich follows him with 18 percent.

Paul is in fourth place with 11 percent.

The poll of 750 likely voters was conducted Thursday and has a margin of error of +/- 4 percentage points.
