“Obama” Spray-Painted on Romney Highway Sign

A highway sign for the Eastland County community of Romney has been vandalized.

"Obama" was spray-painted in black on the sign for the small unincorporated community.

NBC 5 viewer Carolyn Michnoff send in a photo of the vandalized sign. She called the vandalism "shameful," saying it was not a good way to show political support.

The Eastland County Sheriff's Office did not have any information on the vandalism.

A woman who lives about five miles away confirmed to the Star-Telegram that she and her daughter had seen the graffiti last week.

Romney is in between Cisco and Rising Star.
