Gov. Jindal to Stump for Perry

Louisiana governor will be campaigning in Iowa for Perry

Gov. Bobby Jindal is in Iowa this week to help Texas Gov. Rick Perry's presidential campaign in the last push before the first-in-the-nation Jan. 3 caucuses.

Jindal spokesman Frank Collins says the Louisiana governor will be campaigning Tuesday and Wednesday in Iowa for Perry, who is seeking the GOP presidential nomination. Jindal is returning to Baton Rouge on Wednesday.

Perry is trying to mount a comeback following widely panned appearances in the debates. Jindal has previously traveled to Texas to help raise money for Perry's campaign.

Jindal endorsed Perry several months ago, when the Texas governor was a rising star in the GOP presidential field.
