Dramatic Images: Floods Hit as Harvey Drenches Texas

Harvey lingered over the Houston area Saturday night and Sunday morning, dropping torrential rain and causing flooding. The storm made landfall Friday night before gradually weakening overnight from a Category 4 hurricane to a tropical storm, making it the first major hurricane to hit the U.S. in 12 years.
