Alarmed by some of the images she saw on her students' Facebook pages, a sixth-grade teacher in Tulsa posted a plea for social media responsibility — and as if to prove a point, her message went viral. Melissa Bour told "Today" that she posted a simple letter she wrote, which said in part: "Please help me out by sharing this image and commenting with where you live to show these young students how quickly their images can get around.” Within hours, the letter went viral around the U.S. and the world.
