Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan declared a national state of emergency on Friday as Ebola cases continued to rise in the country, Reuters reported. The virus was first seen in Nigeria in a man arriving from Ebola-ravaged Liberia. Jonathan has approved millions of dollars to combat the virus and is keeping dozens of people who came in contact with the sick man under surveillance.
