NBA Cancels All Games Through Nov. 30

Brick! NBA Commissioner David Stern nixed all NBA games through Nov. 30 after another round of labor talks stalled on Friday. "It's not practical, possible or prudent to have a full season now," Stern said. Hours earlier, multiple news sites were reporting a breakthrough to end the lockout appeared imminent after marathon negotiations earlier this week. But a main sticking point remains how to divide league revenues, the New York Times reported. Owners are insistent on a 50-50 split, while players have held out for 52.5 percent of revenues. "We made a lot of concessions, but unfortunately at this time it's not enough, and we're not prepared or unable at this time to move any further," union executive director Billy Hunter told the AP. No new talks have been scheduled.
