Michelle Obama To Grace Vogue Cover?

Michelle Obama has been hailed for her chic but affordable fashion sense – but is the First Lady about to appear on the cover of one of fashion’s most high-end magazines?

Michelle’s hairstylist, Johnny Wright, who recently landed his own reality show, mentioned that he had styled the First Lady’s hair for an upcoming Vogue cover, but no official word has been given about the possibility of Michelle gracing the cover of the fashion mag.

When contacted by New York Magazine about further details of the Michelle’s alleged Vogue cover, reps for Wright were unavailable.

A rep for Vogue also remained elusive, telling the mag, “We’re very interested in working with the First Lady.”

Vogue might have been tip lipped about the possibility of a Michelle Obama cover, but one of the magazine’s favorite photographers, Annie Leibovitz, was reportedly spotted at the Hay-Adams Hotel in Washington, D.C., earlier this month – where the Obamas resided before moving into the White House — causing speculation that Leibovitz could have shot the cover.

Vogue readers will have to wait until the March issue of the fashion mag hits newsstands to find out if the First Lady is on the cover.
