Administrators at Iraq's largest oil refinery shuttered overnight and evacuated its foreign staff, according to Reuters. Local staff remained in place and military was in control of the Baiji facility. It is one of three oil refineries in Iraq and only processes oil from the north. The other two locations are still operational. Militants from the al-Qaeda-linked Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham seized Iraq second-largest city of Mosul last week and other Sunni armed groups advanced into the town of Baiji and surrounded the refinery.
