Death Toll Rises to 45 As Quake Hits Remote Pakistan

An earthquake that struck northwest Pakistan on Tuesday has killed at least 45 people, NBC News reported. The tremor was recorded at a magnitude of 7.8 and hit 145 miles southeast of Dalbandin in the remote province of Balochistan. The quake was felt as far away as Karachi, Pakistan's largest city, and across the border in India in the provinces of Sindh, Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
