For the Arizona Rattlers, a possible MVP contender isn’t actually a player at all.
The Arena Football League team brought in professional dancer and choreographer Oscar Hernandez to work and twerk out on the field, along with its dance team, the Sidewinders, SBNation reported.
Hernandez’ character, the Dancing Lineman, wowed spectators at the Talking Stick Resort Arena, popularly known as the US Airways Center. Hernandez reportedly has worked with multiple sports teams, as well as recording artists, including Busta Rhymes, Salt-N-Pepa, T-Pain, Flo Rida and Jay Sean.
The Rattlers are currently the AFL’s reigning champions, having won their fifth title last year. The team is tied with the Tampa Bay Storm for the most AFL titles.
