Brooklyn Robber Stole $1,000 From Blind Man: NYPD

Police are looking for a robber they say stole $1,000 from a legally blind man at a Brooklyn street corner on Tuesday.

The 57-year-old victim was walking down the sidewalk at Bay and Ocean avenues in Midwood using a white cane when he was robbed, police say. The suspect allegedly grabbed him by the arm and took his wallet, which contained credit cards and about $1,000 in cash.

The suspect then left in an unknown direction.

The suspect was spotted on surveillance video carrying a mountain bike and walking next to the victim.
