2 More Men Charged After NY Student's Alcohol-Related Death

Two more men have been arrested on hazing charges following last year's death of a University at Albany student from the Bronx who drank an excessive amount of alcohol.

The Albany Times Union reports that Joseph Angilletta and Austin Bacchus surrendered to police Friday.

The men, who are both 20, were each charged with one count of first-degree hazing. They were arraigned in city court and released.

Police arrested five other men on the same charge last week, including Olaf Jablonski and Yuval Sucov, both 20. Police said they were involved in an initiation for an unsanctioned fraternity in which pledges were required to drink large amounts of alcohol.

Attorneys for Jablonski and Sucov did not immediately return phone messages seeking comment. Information on attorneys for Angilletta and Bacchus wasn't available.

The arrests followed what police are calling an initiation for an unsanctioned fraternity.

Nineteen-year-old Trevor Duffy, of the Bronx, was found unconscious after the Nov. 14, 2014 initiation rite. He died at a local hospital.

According to court files, Duffy drank a 60-ounce bottle of vodka.
