1 Dead as Dust Storm Topples Trucks in Utah, Nevada

Howling winds kicked up dust storms in the desert of Utah and Nevada Tuesday, leading to a 17-vehicle pileup that killed one person and injured at least 25 others, NBC News reported. The Utah Highway Patrol said the a semi truck braked suddenly on Interstate 80 in Tooele County, triggering a chain-reaction crash. In all, as many as eight semis overturned or were involved in accidents on I-80, several of them spilling their contents into the roadway, John Gleason, a spokesman for the Transportation Department, told NBC News.
