Expect one of the most heavily-trafficked days to be Wednesday in Fort Worth, when the zoo offers tickets for half price. Typically, admission to the Fort Worth Zoo is $12.
To ease traffic, the Fort Worth Zoo has partnered with The T to provide shuttles from the downtown Intermodal Transportation Center for only $3 for adults and $1.50 for seniors and those 18 and under. Children under 5 ride for free.

The Dallas Zoo is open all week as well, with admission prices ranging from $15 for those between 12 and 64. Tickets are $12 for seniors and kids and thoes under the age of 2 are free. The Dallas Zoo is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
In Dallas, vistiors are invited to see the new bachelor gorillas, take a ride on a camel or see the lesser flamingo chick who hatched last December.
Visitors to the Dallas Zoo can take the DART Red Line which stops near the zoo entrance. If you don't ride DART, you'll pay $7 to park.
