Four rescue lions are headed to their new home in North Texas.
This week, the In-Sync Exotics Wildlife Rescue and Education Center in Wylie will get the lions rescued from a facility in New York that was unable to handle the big cats.
Rafiki, a 7-month-old cub, is part of that group and arrived at the Wylie shelter on Tuesday.
On Thursday, another male cub and two females will arrive.
The new arrivals come after a difficult year at the wildlife sanctuary, where eight big cats died from an outbreak of canine distemper.
