Irving police said there were only minor injuries after the driver of a minivan crashed head-on with a taxi cab on Spur 483 and state Highway 183.
At about 3:10 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to the incident to find a silver minivan had crashed head-on into a minivan serving as a Yellow Cab taxi.
Investigators believe the silver minivan was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes before the crash.
The driver of the silver minivan had minor injuries and was taken to the hospital to be checked out — the driver of the taxi was uninjured. No others were in the vans at the time.
Police said they are investigating the possibility of alcohol being involved in the crash.
