Irving firefighters say a woman was found dead inside a home that burned Tuesday night.
The fire started around 9:30 p.m. in the 3700 block of Hidalgo Street.
When firefighters arrived on the scene, there was intense fire and smoke coming from the home. Firefighters couldn't make it inside the home because of the intense blaze.
When firefighters were able to enter, they found a woman, dead, inside.
Fire crews were on scene throughout the night looking for a cause of the fire and looking for a reason why the woman couldn't make it out.
The woman's name hasn't been released.
