Woman Accused of Killing Husband Waives Extradition

A Fort Worth woman who was arrested in New Mexico on suspicion of fatally stabbing her husband has agreed to waive extradition.

Authorities arrested Dina Jackson, 34, on Friday after stopping a bus she was riding on Interstate 40 near Gallup. She had surrendered by cell phone to the U.S. Marshals Service while on the bus.

Jackson is accused of stabbing her husband, Michael Jackson, 37, of Fort Worth, twice on Feb. 18.

Jackson appeared Monday before a McKinley County magistrate and waived extradition. She will be held at the county jail without bond until she is returned to Texas to face a murder charge.
