A North Texas woman who has been missing since Sunday has been found safe.
On Thursday afternoon, McKinney police said they located 28-year-old Minetssy Sanchez. They did not release further details.
Investigators said Sanchez, of Princeton, was inside a black 2007 Nissan Sentra when it was stolen early Sunday morning from The Gables apartment complex on the 1500 block of Eldorado Parkway by a person identified by witnesses as 28-year-old Jabrice Davun Ortega.
The vehicle was later located, and police said Wednesday evening that Ortega has been arrested for kidnapping.
Police did not say whether Ortega and Sanchez knew each other.
Sanchez was entered into a database as missing/endangered as detectives worked to locate her.
The McKinney Police Department said the investigation into the circumstances surrounding Sanchez's disappearance is ongoing.
