Weather permitting, construction crews plan to partially demolish portions of the Esters Road bridge over Texas 183 this weekend.
The project will force the closure of westbound 183, followed by eastbound 183 under the Esters Road bridge this weekend.
- Westbound: Closed between 10 p.m. Friday through mid-morning Saturday
- Eastbound: Closed between 10 p.m. Saturday until mid-morning Sunday
Also, the northbound Interstate 635 rap to eastbound Texas 183 will be closed from 10 p.m. Saturday until noon Sunday. To get around this, use the Northgate Drive exit and turn left onto 161 frontage road, then left on Valley View road to get back on Texas 183.
