Want Some Quick Cash?

Is so, head north to Denton this week

The Treasure Hunters Roadshow is stopping in Denton this week. The roadshow is a place for self-proclaimed packrats to separate trash from treasure.

One such packrat, Larry Lamonica, is looking to clean up.

"I don't throw anything away. I store it back; paintbrushes, hammers, saws and trinkets," said Lamonica.

For people looking to make a lot of money, gold and silver are bringing in a premium right now, because the commodities are trading at or near record highs.

"Actually, last week, we bough 21 gold krugerrands," said Todd Oswald, with Treasure Hunters Roadshow.  "We actually cut a check for just under $25,000."

The Treasure Hunters Roadshow runs through Saturday at the Comfort Suites at 1100 Interstate 35E in Denton.  It runs Tuesday-Friday from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
