Video Crew Robbed Near ‘We Love Houston' Sign, Nobody Hurt

A video crew taping near a prominent "We Love Houston" sign has been robbed but the suspect's image was captured on camera.

Houston police are seeking the gunman who held up the crew Wednesday, stealing $15,000 worth of equipment.

The colorful "We Love Houston" sign near Interstate 10 was done by artist David Adickes and includes a heart that stands for the word love.

Zach Jankovic with Cut to Create production said the crew was shooting a video to promote Houston real estate when a man approached. Jankovic said the robber, wearing a red T-shirt, stole two high-end professional  cameras, plus other equipment.

Nobody was hurt.

The crew's GoPro camera, which was stolen but recovered nearby, recorded the robber's image. Jankovic posted the wanted-man photo on Facebook.
