U.S. 75 to Close in Plano, Richardson This Weekend

Nearly two miles of U.S. Highway 75 will be closed in both directions this weekend for ongoing construction projects.

The Texas Department of Transportation said the highway will be closed from 3 a.m. Saturday through 5 a.m. Monday between Renner Road and E. 15th Street.

In addition to the closure along U.S. 75, the direct connector from westbound PGBT to northbound U.S. 75 will be closed; the direct connector from southbound U.S. 75 to east- and westbound PGBT will be closed and the direct connector from eastbound PGBT to northbound U.S. 75 will be closed.

All traffic along U.S. 75 will be diverted to service roads; traffic going from the PGBT to 75 will be diverted at Alma Drive on the west and to the Frontage Road on the east.

TxDOT crews will have other closures in the same area at the same time. Public announcements about the other closures will be made by the owners of the facilities that will be affected. For more information on the detour for the other closures, dial 511 or visit www.511dfw.org.
