Dallas police are expected to release new information in the search for a man who slipped into a young girl's room last Friday and exposed himself.
Investigators said the man approached the family's apartment on the 14000 block of Brookgreen Drive at about 4:20 a.m. and entered the girl's bedroom through an unlocked window.
Once inside, police said the man exposed himself and began touching a sleeping 9-year-old girl. The girl screamed and the man escaped through the window.
The offense was witnessed by other children in the room, police said.
The man is described as white or Hispanic with a thin build. He was wearing a black, long-sleeved shirt with a green T-shirt over the long sleeve shirt. He had on a black beanie and a black ski mask covering his face.
Anyone with information in the case is asked to contact Detective L. Roach with the Child Exploitation Unit at 214-671-4207.
