Crews are investigating after a small plane crashed at the Midway Regional Airport Wednesday afternoon.
Initial reports show a single-engine Cessna 210 with one person on board crashed while attempting to take off.
Officials said the pilot was taken to the hospital to be checked out. He told investigators he had trouble taking off and had a hard landing at the end of the runway.
Waxahachie Police, the FAA, and the NTSB are all investigating.
