Two Men Robbed, Pistol-Whipped Near Texas Wesleyan: Police

Two men were robbed and pistol-whipped near Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth late Thursday night. 

The two men were walking near South Collard Street and Avenue H at about 10:40 p.m. when two masked men robbed them, according to Fort Worth police. One of the masked men struck one of the victims with a pistol, police said. 

The two masked men fled southbound on Vaughn Boulevard after the robbery, police said. 

Medics evaluated the man who was hit, but police said he was not transported to a hospital.

A detailed description of the robbers was not immediately available.
