Authorities said a Trinity Railway Express train collided with two vehicles that crashed on the tracks in Irving Tuesday morning. [[400384401,C]]
Irving firefighters said they responded to the crash near the intersection of Irby Street and Rock Island Road at about 6 a.m.
Shortly afterward, a TRE train crashed into the disabled vehicles. No one was in the vehicles at the time.
No injuries were reported.
Dallas Area Rapid Transit officials said TRE train traffic was shut down until about 8 a.m.
