A major North Texas highway has reopened after a big rig crash shut it down for hours.[[307961871,C]]
A tractor-tractor jackknifed on westbound Texas Highway 183 at County Line Road, just south of the DFW International Airport exit.
It happened just before 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The big rig was in the median in the middle of the highway, which caused traffic to back up for miles.
All of westbound 183 and two lanes of eastbound 183 were was shut down for several hours, including during rush hour. All lanes reopened at about 6:45 p.m.
No one was injured, according to Irving police.
