A North Texas junior high school turned into a crime scene following a triple-shooting late Thursday night.
The three victims are in serious condition at a local hospital, according to Arlington police.
Police said a large group of people were hanging out outside Barnett Junior High School on Sublett Road when someone opened fire.
Paramedics only took one victim to the hospital; two other gunshot victims arrived at the emergency room a short time later.
Police told NBC 5 all three victims are either 19 or 20 years of age and they all were shot with a small-caliber handgun.
A person of interest is in police custody right now being questioned by detectives, but no one has been charged with a crime.
The school has several surveillance cameras and police are looking to see if the shooting was caught on tape.
