Dallas firefighters rescued three people from a burning home Sunday.

According to the Dallas Fire Department, flames took over a two story house in the 1900 block of South Boulevard at Harwood in Dallas. There were flames in the attic and second floor of the wood frame house.

"They were hanging out of the second floor windows on the side of the house," said Dallas Fire Rescue Capt. Ryan Truelove. "Smoke, a lot of smoke coming out of the windows they were in."

Officials used multiple ladders to get the individuals from the windows of the home. They were suffering from smoke inhalation.
