Thanksgiving Tower Bomb Threat a Hoax: Dallas Police

Dallas police say a possible bomb threat Wednesday at Thanksgiving Tower in downtown Dallas was a hoax.[[384042751,R]]

The mixed-use residential and office building on the 1600 block of Elm Street was evacuated after 6 p.m.

Police said an employee of a business located in the tower had been speaking with a client over the phone when the client, who lives out of state, became upset and threatened to "blow up the building." The employee then notified building security, who ordered the evacuation.

By about 8:30 p.m. the possible threat was determined to be over. Dallas police are continuing their investigation.
