A Central Texas man convicted of sexually assaulting a child at an in-home day care center must serve 25 years in prison in a sentencing plea deal.
Greg Kelley will serve two 25-year prison sentences concurrently with no chance for parole and has waived his right to appeal.
Kelley accepted the plea deal during the penalty phase Wednesday in Georgetown. The 25-year prison term was the minimum possible sentence.
A Williamson County jury on Tuesday night convicted the 19-year-old from Leander of two counts of super aggravated sexual assault against a child. A 4-year-old boy told his parents that Kelley molested him.
Kelley, who denied the allegation, was staying with a friend at the house in 2013 when prosecutors say the victim was abused twice.
