Teen Gets 60 Years for Helping Abduct Texas Girl

A South Texas teenager has been sentenced to 60 years in prison for helping abduct an 11-year-old girl who was then sexually assaulted and left on a beach.

Eric Dimick was sentenced Monday in Corpus Christi. Jurors on Friday convicted the 18-year-old Dimick of aggravated kidnapping in the 2012 abduction as the girl rode her bicycle.

Two other men, both age 20, pleaded guilty last year and were sentenced to prison.

Colton Visor in December pleaded guilty to aggravated kidnapping and aggravated sexual assault and was sentenced to 30 years. Visor cooperated with the prosecution in Dimick's case.

Jacob Musich last October pleaded guilty to aggravated kidnapping and aggravated sexual assault and received a life prison term.

Investigators say Musich sexually assaulted the girl and his friends helped.
