The TCU Horned Frogs are one win away from the College World Series championship round as they head into Friday night's game against the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers in Omaha, Nebraska.
Coastal Carolina beat Texas Tech 7-5 Thursday, eliminating the Red Raiders and setting up a Bracket 2 final matchup with TCU at 7 p.m.
TCU beat the Chanticleers 6-1 Tuesday night. Luken Baker had a solo home run in the victory to help improve TCU to 2-0 in the College World Series. TCU is 11-0 in games in which Baker homers.
Coastal Carolina would have to beat the Horned Frogs in Friday's game and again Saturday to reach next week's best-of-three finals.
Coastal Carolina has won 17 of its last 19 games and has 51 wins, second most in the country behind Florida's 52. The Chanticleers are the first team to debut at the CWS and earn multiple wins since Vanderbilt won twice in 2011.
