Swaziland Elephants Headed to Dallas Zoo

Eighteen elephants destined for Dallas and two other zoos are U.S.-bound despite an animal rights group's last-ditch effort to halt their transfer.

The nonprofit Friends of Animals, which is suing the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service over the elephant’s import to the Dallas Zoo, Sedgwick County Zoo and Henry Doorly Zoo, filed a request for an emergency temporary restraining order Tuesday to stop the transfer.
