Police are looking for the person responsible for a shooting early Sunday morning in the Uptown area of Dallas.
Dallas police said two people were involved in a fight near the 2500 block of Boll Street when one of them was shot. Officers say the victim was able to wrestle the gun away from the suspect.
Officers reportedly heard the gunshots from across the street and saw the suspect fleeing the scene. The suspected gunman was not located and is still on the run.
The victim was taken to Parkland Hospital for treatment. The suspect's gun was taken by police.
