Super Bowl XLV Logo Makes its Debut

Super Bowl logo to remain in place for future games.

The National Football League unveiled the North Texas Super Bowl logo in Miami on Thursday morning.

The metallic logo has the Roman numerals across the bottom with the Vince Lombardi trophy on top. Cowboys Stadium serves as the backdrop.

Members of the Super Bowl XLV  host committee are in south Florida this week taking notes on how things are being done for this year's Super Bowl.

Arlington will play host to the Super Bowl on Feb. 6, 2011, but Dallas, Fort Worth and other surrounding communities will play host to events throughout the week leading up to the big game.

The new logo will be the NFL's Super Bowl logo for years to come according to a league spokesman. Mark Waller, the chief marketing director for the NFL said the only thing that will change in the future is the host stadium behind the trophy.
