Stars Pull Kari Lehtonen Off Injured Reserve

Goalie Jack Campbell reassigned to Texas Stars

The Dallas Stars said Monday that they have activated goaltender Kari Lehtonen from injured reserve and recalled defenseman Aaron Rome.

Lehtonen has missed the last five games after being placed on injured reserve, retroactive to Oct. 11, when he suffered a lower body injury.  In three games this season, Lehtonen posted a 2-1-0 record and is tied for second in the NHL with a .953 save percentage and fourth with a 1.57 GAA, the Stars said.

Rome was on a conditioning assignment with the Texas Stars in Cedar Park, where he recorded three shots on goal and six penalty minutes in three games.

The team also assigned goaltender Jack Campbell to Texas. Campbell made his NHL debut on Sunday night against the Anaheim Ducks, stopping 41 of 47 shots.

The Dallas Stars host the Calgary Flames on Thursday, Oct. 24 at American Airlines Center. Puck drop for Thursday's contest is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
