The Dallas Stars travel to St. Louis to take on the Blues on Thursday night in the second of five games this season between the Central Division rivals. Dallas comes into Thursday's tilt having earned points in seven of its last nine games against the Blues, going 2-2-5 against St. Louis dating back to the 2015-16 campaign. The Stars have also logged points in seven of their last 10 trips to Scottrade Center, posting a 4-3-3 record over that span. Dallas holds a 0-1-0 record this season against the Blues, losing the first meeting of the season, 4-2, on Oct. 7 at Scottrade Center. Forward Mattias Janmark (1-0=1) and defenseman John Klingberg (1-0=1) recorded goals for Dallas with assists from forwards Alexander Radulov (0-1=1), Brett Ritchie (0-1=1), Devin Shore (0-1=1) and Jason Spezza (0-1=1). Goaltender Kari Lehtonen stopped 17-of-21 shots he faced.

KEEP ON TRUCKIN'
Defenseman Jamie Oleksiak registered two points (1-1=2) on Tuesday night against the Nashville Predators. Oleksiak recorded the third multi-point game of his NHL career and (last: Nov. 28, 2016 at St. Louis, (2-0=2)) and his first Gordie Howe Hat Trick (goal, assist and fighting major). Prior to Tuesday's game, Oleksiak had never recorded a goal and an assist in the same game. During the 2017-18 campaign, Oleksiak now has three points (1-2=3) in 19 games. In parts of six NHL seasons, the defenseman has tallied 22 points (7-15=22) in 138 regular-season contests, all as a member of the Stars. The native of Toronto, Ont. was originally selected by Dallas in the first round (14th overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft.
BENN THERE, DONE THAT
Stars captain Jamie Benn recorded an assist (0-1=1) on Tuesday night against the Predators and now has inked the scoresheet in three consecutive games (0-3=3). Benn shares third on the club with 24 points (11-13=24) in 28 games during the 2017-18 campaign, ranking second in goals (11) and sharing third in assists (13). On the road this season, the captain leads all Stars skaters with 14 points (7-7=14) in 15 games, with three of his four power play goals in 2017-18 coming away from American Airlines Center. The native of Victoria, B.C. leads all current Stars players with 29 points (12-17=29) in 31 career games against the Blues and has 10 points (5-5=10) over his 10 games at Scottrade Center.
