SPCA of Texas Makes Call for Donations After Dogs Seized from Garland Property

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Texas is asking for help after removing several dogs from a property in Garland.

The SPCA of Texas released the video featuring newborn pups on its Facebook page and said they've rescued hundreds of pets in the past couple of months.

The rescue group said it's in need of toys, treats, blankets, towels and enrichment toys and offered up an Amazon Wish List for people who want to help.

The call for help comes days after NBC 5 and Telemundo 39's Clear the Shelters event. More than 7,400 animals were adopted, and seven North Texas shelters were cleared on Aug. 19.
