Slain Arlington Man Likely Knew His Killer: Police

An Arlington man was shot and killed Tuesday by someone he likely knew, police say.

Arlington police were called to a shooting at a home on the 2400 block of Sunflower Drive at about 4 p.m. When officers arrived, the found a man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The man was transported to a hospital where he later died.

Detectives do not believe the shooting was random and said the man, whose name is being withheld until his family has been notified, may have known his killer.
