Part of a Collin County highway was closed Tuesday due to a sinkhole, officials say.
The sinkhole formed on Highway 78 just north of Farm-to-Market Road 546/549.
A Texas Department of Transportation spokesman said the likely cause was an eroded culvert.
It will need a more permanent fix in the future.
