Silver Alert Continues for Dallas Man with Dementia

Roy Lee Cook was last seen at 3 a.m. on August 2nd in Dallas

A Silver Alert continues Tuesday for a Dallas man missing since Thursday.

Dallas police have joined family members in the search for 70-year-old Roy Lee Cook, of Dallas, who has dementia.

Cook was last seen at his home in the 800 block of Lawton Drive at about 3 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 2.

He is believed to have left his home on foot.

Cook is described as being 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs about 125 pounds. He has gray and brown hair with brown eyes. Police said he was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, red/white or red/white/black pajama pants and no shoes.

On Tuesday, family went around town passing out fliers with his picture on it.

"We need him home. We want him here, and hopefully we find him alive versus dead... because I don't think we can handle it," said his niece, Latoya Cook.

If you have seen Cook or have information on his whereabouts, call 911 or the Dallas Police Department at 214-671-4268.
