The Coppell Police Department says it has completed its investigation into a sexual assault complaint at Coppell High School.
After conducting an investigation, the officers determined that the incident in question did not meet the criteria for criminal charges.
Investigators say they met with all of the people involved in the incident, and the information provided in those interviews led to the final determination.
Over the weekend, a post on social media claimed that a student with special needs at Coppell High School was sexually assaulted on Friday in the school bathroom. The post also claims that as many as three other Coppell High School students were involved.
On Monday, the Police Department reassured that it takes any allegation of misconduct seriously and if anyone has any information concerning criminal activity in the community should give them a call.
