Police said several people were struck in a shooting at an apartment complex in Southeast Arlington Friday afternoon.

Police said at least one other person was injured in the shooting and two others fled the scene.

The shooting stemmed from a disturbance at a nearby barbershop, police said.

"These are always senseless," Cook said. "Anytime that you have some type of disturbance with teenagers -- in the old days, I'm talking way back when I was growing up, a fistfight was a fistfight, but nowadays there is a lot of gun violence out here."
